Frequently Asked, Honestly Answered
- Is it really free?
- Yes, for individuals — profiles, posting, Bulletin and job seeking. Employers will eventually pay for Koi's hiring tools; they're free during early access.
- Who can see my profile?
- By default, only signed-in members. You can make it public in Settings → Privacy. The Unfiltered Résumé starts visible only to you.
- What is the Unfiltered Résumé?
- Each experience entry can have a corporate version and an honest one. Visitors toggle between them, if you let them. Edit yours in Settings → Résumé.
- How does Bulletin work?
- Pin a question to any organization. Others can support it (one support per member), add evidence, log when it was sent to the company, and follow updates. Verified representatives answer on the record. Visit the board.
- What does “No verified response on Bulletin” mean?
- Exactly that: no verified representative has answered on TPS. The company may have answered elsewhere — members can add that as evidence.
- How do I respond for my company?
- Open the company's page and choose “I represent…”. With a work email at the company's domain you're verified instantly; otherwise a moderator reviews your request.
- Why can only 30 people apply to a Koi job?
- So every application actually gets watched. If someone withdraws, a place opens. Employers can set a lower or higher limit, up to 100.
- Do I need to be on camera for Koi?
- No. Every question can be answered in writing, and video introductions are optional.
- What does “Automatic” mean on my application?
- Your application moved to Under review because someone at the company opened it. Every other stage is set by a person and labelled “Employer update”.
- How do I turn on two-step verification?
- In Settings → Security. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe.
- How do I download or delete my data?
- Both are in Settings → Account. Deletion is permanent.
- How do I report something?
- Use the ··· menu or “Report” link on any post, comment, profile, notice or listing. Reports are anonymous to the author.
