Terms of Use
The agreement between you and TPS: accounts, content, acceptable use, and the limits of our service.
Last updated October 22, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and [Operator legal name — e.g. Forge d'Arcadie inc.] (“we”) about your use of The Professional Sycophants, Bulletin and Koi.
Your account
You must be at least 16, give accurate information, keep your password secure, and be responsible for activity on your account. One person, one personal account.
Your content
You own what you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within the service, to the audience you choose, for as long as it remains on TPS. Bulletin notices are published as a public record; by pinning one you grant us a perpetual licence to keep displaying it, attributed to you or to “Former member” if you leave.
Acceptable use
Follow the Community Guidelines. Don't break the law, harass people, impersonate anyone, share private information, scrape the service, or try to get around our security or rate limits.
Satire
TPS is a place for honesty and humour about professional life. Satire and criticism of organizations and public conduct are welcome; defamation and harassment of individuals are not.
Bulletin
Notices must be good-faith questions to organizations. “No verified response on Bulletin” means only that no verified representative has answered on TPS. We don't verify the truth of members' questions or evidence, and we may remove material that breaks these Terms.
Koi
Koi connects candidates and employers; we are not a party to any employment relationship and don't guarantee interviews or offers. Employers must also accept the Employer Terms.
Moderation and termination
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms, and we'll tell you why unless doing so would create a risk. You can leave at any time by deleting your account.
The service
Individual participation is free. We provide the service as-is and may change features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses; nothing here limits rights you have under the Québec Consumer Protection Act.
Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada. Contact us first at tps@forgearcadie.com; we'll try to resolve things informally.
